Hi, I'm Keira- the baker behind Small Kitchen!

I earned my degree in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University in 2014. While my main career is in live events, I decided to turn my passion for baking into something I could share with others.

Small Kitchen is a play on my last name and my belief that every celebration—big or small—deserves something extra special. As Julia Child said, “A party without cake is just a meeting.”

I specialize in custom buttercream cakes and desserts made from scratch. Buttercream allows me to create unique designs while offering the rich, luxurious texture that makes every bite feel special.

Inspired by the seasons and quality ingredients, I love creating desserts that bring people together. Some of my favorite treats are the ones I make for my two kids and their friends—seeing their excitement is a reminder of the joy a thoughtful dessert can bring.

When I'm not baking, you'll usually find me with a matcha latte and a good book.
